Prior to returning to education, I was an apprentice-trained cabinetmaker, restoring antique's for many years. I became self-employed and ran my own antique restoration and metal fabrication business for seven years, during which time I became a registered therapist.

I am interested in how technology facilitates the projection of the self, in regard to gender, sexuality and display - I endeavour to explore the hidden, uncomfortable and taboo.
